So my buddy found when they put in the casinos in Cripple Creek. He is very curious what this would be worth. He could sure use the money! I did a lot of printmaking in college and have a press. I am tempted to borrow it and make some copies. He said he saw a postcard with this in it. Any information about it would be great! Happy Hunting. Interesting find No. 1. Was it found gutting out an old building to turn into a new Casio? I definitely think it might have some value to particular collectors and I also believe there are collectors who focus on old type sets. Things like these can be hard to assess if there are no sales records. I know I've had a few, but I just roll the dice and hoped for all the right bidders would be around to lay down the money. Some were winners and others not so much. Maybe search everything coupled to Teddy Roosevelt that has sold and come up with a set price on what your friend feels they'd like to get out of it. List it with that price and see what happens. Knowing how old it is I think would help in estimating a value also.

Thanks for the posts! It was found before a demolition of a building. Hopefully an image will appear with some information. Maybe I should look through the old newspapers, although it kind of looks like postcard I posted this on a Facebook appraisal site also, but have not heard anything. He was offered 500 and maybe he should have taken it. I offered to sell it on eBay for him. Collectors can get funny sometimes, and old west Americana is hard to come by. It is copper mounted on a heavier metal.

Ya never know and yes getting a positive print image would be neat. Personally if I found it and was offered 500 I think I'd a taken it and not looked back. I've been told many times you could have gotten more for things I've sold, but should-a, would-a, could-a doesn't really do much justice imo.
