I know but I like to have someone show me the right way to do it. I need to get a pin pointer. It has one on my detector but when I dig I don't find anything.

I know but I like to have someone show me the right way to do it. I need to get a pin pointer. It has one on my detector but when I dig I don't find anything.

Practice with placing coins in a sand pit.

Practice with placing coins in a sand pit.

Beat me to it...I would suggest a test garden. Plant different items at different depths and see what they sound like. You may have your sensetivity too hight if the detector keeps going off or it is a very trash area...dig everything at first until you learn your machine.
