Will a Cibola or Vaquero beat a Fisher 1236x2 as far as depth? Has anyone compared any to the Fisher?

Both Tesoro machines are a better deal. I have read several posts on forums from folks happy - and unhappy, with the Fisher machines. In my case, I like the 1236X2, but it is not deeper than the Vaquero - period. My opinion. :icon_thumleft:

The 1236 was not as deep as my Tejon either and used them in the same place, but there was something about the 36 that wasn't right from the git go.

So is the 36 not all it's made up to be? From what I've read about in other posts you comment in it's a great machine. :dontknow: :icon_scratch:

Not the same two detectors but my Cortes is just as deep if not deeper than a Fisher 1266X that a buddy of mine is using.

The 1236 is a lot different than the Vaquero and it has more features which could be important to you.

I owned a 1266x for years and decided to try the Cibola. The Cibola is a deeper more stable detector.
