It will be BUT, I have to hip mount mine or it kills my arm unless I'm in waist deep or deeper water. I'm going to try an Anderson rod where the box is mounted more under arm. In autotune it's about as deep as the Shark ever was. That's usually how I run at the beach until I get a target and flip to zero to check target. Sometimes very deep targets that are on the low end of conductivity scale can give a low tone in salt water.
