wow the u max silver came out in 2001? awesome ;];];] i thought it was ALOT older;];];]

It is, sort of.. The "Silver μmax", was pretty much the same detector as the previous "Cutlass II μmax".

Hey Tony, a fairly common modification on the Cibola, is to change it from a fixed ground balance, to an adjustable ground balance. They get optimal depth that way, and become very similar to the Vaquero in function. I've done it on one of my Cibolas and it's nice to have the adjustable GB, but I don't think it made my Cibola all that special. Might as well just get a Vaquero..

Thanks pinenut. Interesting my one detector friend emailed me the pdf of that mod yesterday. But I don't have a Cibola but he does. I hope to get the Vaq this week!

When did the Tesoro Dingo come out looks like a Lobo or Lobo ST, but not quite, I hear it was made for the Australian market so likely the same time as the Lobo or ST.
