I feel for the folks in Mexico, Texas, & Oklahoma, that were hit with the flooding rainfall & damage, but this part of AR & OK was in 'dire straits' for lack of rainfall.
We got slow, steady rain for two days, with a few places getting more than they needed all at once.
We were having grass fires, dried up ponds, & conditions were getting very bad, so 'Thank You Hermine'.

Nature doing her thing and humans getting in the way is my perspective of it.

I was in Houston taking care of some probate things when it hit, streets flooding, car wrecks and the usual, I stayed dry at the hotel, had a terrifying moment when we almost slipped on the slimy sidewalk
going to the room but that was about it.

Left the next day and went back to Dallas and dang if it did not follow me. Flooding, tornadoes and other damage around Big D but I just got new flowers on my Roses and my pool topped off
