I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as a new member(Jan 09) and to thank all who have responded to me, answered questions, and helped me better understand the hobby. This is a great site and you all have been terrific and supportive not only to me but to each other. Also a big thanks to crackbadger on my selection of detectors($39.99 at radio shack) j/k dude and to juju and detectingfreak who were kind enough to invite me on a local hunt.
