Here in Oklahoma, the ground is too hard to dig. I went to two swimming beaches where the beach areas are 75 ft. wider than normal. Nothing ! Stopped by a tot lot, but the anchor post left a halo of at least 6 inches. BING ! My seldom used sniper coil was in the pick-up. As they say, the rest is history. Not bad for 2 1/2 hrs in 104 deg wood chips. The little nugget ring is 10K. The large coin is a "challange coin" fron a Lighthorseman CLEET class. (My second) Lighthorseman are the Indian police in the Seminole Nation.
I don't ever remember plucking that many nickles at one place.
