Yesterday I had( finally) the chance to go out for a quick hunt. I chose a place not too far and decided to reduce the weight of my backpack. Half of water, pinpointed, X35 coil and the spade.
-1°C on a sunny day is the best for hunting.

I have been hunting with the X35 for about five times and I have found only a few coins. Probably, it's because of the settings. Sens 97, freq 4kgz, react 0, audio 4, discr 0. Maybe I have collected all the coins and the deeper one can not be found because of their measures and the new settings! Yesterday I found only one coin :laughing7: and it would be rediculous if I would't dig three deeeep targets. They were only whispering but as soon as I removed a little bit of soil they sounded perfect targets. In this area I used to find at least 20 coins in a day.
Probably they are from the 6th-7th A.D. Not to old but I love the design and the details. One thing that I'm not sure is if they were used by men or by women.
It was just a quick hunt but it was worth it.

Nice finds!!

Are those factory settings? Those mid range targets I usually get with a higher frequency.

No. I modified the Hot settings. Sure, I need to search again the area in a different frequency.

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

I have found the high frequency elliptical coil is king. Found some brass 18" down last week in good ground.

Well done as usual Vince.

Good luck buddy.

Pretty cool stuff for a quick hunt

My settings for the HF coil is right out of the box Deus Fast program and I normally run 74 khz so I simply do not tweak it. It does go deep.

Thanks buddy. Honestly, I've seen videos posted on YouTube for just one buckle like these but when I hunt I don't have time for the camera. I could produce a serial movie with all my finds. :tongue3:

I will try it:icon_thumright:
