Place frozen turkey in refrigerator to thaw, one day for every five pounds of the turkey weight, or speed up by placing turkey in large ice cooler, fill with tap water (30 minutes per pound so 14lbs will take about 7 hours) and add ice when water gets above 45 degrees. Turkey meat is thaw when digital thermometer shows 40 to 45 degrees, your turkey now is ready for seasoning then baking, frying, smoking.
