This question has been asked I'm sure, buuutt is there anyone who makes a underwater detector that is capable of doing everything from wtr, relics, coins, etc. I just want to simplify things and stop lugging all this crap around and really have a intimate relationship with just one detector.I too believe that it is crucial to know your detector and what it's telling you. Thank you in advance. WANTED GOOD ALLAROUND TECTOR FER LAND AND WOOTER.

I don't think there is any such amimal. Detectors are like tools or golf clubs, each one has a prupose it does well. This is why we have so many different ones. Water units are heavier than land detectors which might have a screen. Water detectors so far can't have a ID screen.

The Fisher 1280x is a excellent all around detector my buddy has one and uses it to relic hunt for civil war relics also coins & jewelry but its kinda on the heavy side. But its got good depth on land and water.
