Cru'dad has not had so much spare time recently, so this Friday it was a solo hunt for just 4 hours at the Abbey Site.
I wanted to try & track down the Roman Grave Yard that the Archies wanted to rediscover but all we have is old photos from the 1970s & no location. The area we suspected was a bust, so I went back to a more productive area to save the day.
Ended up with a few Medieval Buckles & 6 Roman Coins.

Locating a roman grave yard in an area whith settlements through medieval times and a buisy abbey will not be an easy task. I've discussed ecaxt that with an archie last saturday when he showed me pics where some roman graves had a 3m (!) thick late medieval landfill on them.
