I ended up aquiring a 3 fiddy in new condition.figured it would make a good back up/loaner.This morning I finally broke it out at a boat launch here.wow.It was smooth in the black sand areas,the target id was admirable and I hit a few coins in the 7"range in the wet sand.balance was decent.

within minutes I was comfortable with all its functions without haveing read or watched anything...very intuitive.thumbs up so far and duly impressed with a well thought out and performing machine.a new respect.

I use the sniper coil on mine, great for sniffing out silver coins in the woods.
