You all know of course, that they will delay the court proceedings until we go broke or they change the U.S. Mining Laws in congress.

That's standard procedure...:banghead:

This crap has started on the east coast also. I liked to dredge a river coming out of the Smoky Mountains called Little River. Now I can't. They say there aren't enough studies done to show how dredging affects the environment. They won't consider the California studies as legitimate. Sick of it all.

I guess they don't want us to stir up all of the mercury and other poisons that the politicians corporate supporters are dumping there. If this bill does not pass the next step will probably be a huge tax, which will somehow be diverted to the local politicians retirement fund. I don't hate politicians, it's pretty simple: if they show that they love me, I'll love them right back. Welcome to Amerigone folks.

It's not about stirring up any mercury or other pollutants...everything to do with control...

dieselram94, you're right of course, I was just being sarcastic and making the point that they'll allow other things to take place on Government lands. A great example for me is all of the green energy projects, solar, wind etc. I for one love the desert, every day now I have to look at this beautiful desert being turned into an ugly land full of towering giant wind generators. Some would say this hurts nothing but they don't have the facts; it's been verified that the illness Valley Fever has increased ten-fold since these projects began. Valley Fever lays dormant beneath the surface until it's dug up, then the constant winds of the desert spread it for miles. BLM has this data but it doesn't matter to them, they have a directive from the President they follow. When politicians say they want to save a fish on one hand and on the other hand allow things that hurt humans, something is very wrong.

There seems to be a huge push for this crap this winter.
Of all places MAINE is also considering a 'motorized prospecting' ban, not only on 87 currently banned streams, but now T.U. and some greenies are pushing to add 20 more to the list! This new list of 20 streams includes the complete list of 'gold bearing streams' as listed by the Maine Geological Survey Office.

Good luck out there guys!

It's cuz dredging is the most effective way to recover gold. Something big and drastic is about to happen and the feds don't want successful miners being able to finance revolt

They also can't have anyone being self sufficient and unaccounted for. They want us trapped in urban areas so they can control us

This is scary. Maine is not a big gold producing state. Actually not much is being produced in Maine except crime and welfare. Not enough dredges in the state to even amount to anything. Just another example of northeast control...

3029heavy, we all feel it don't we? Something is in the wind and only a blind dumb fool can't see it. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of my father telling me that the US was going to fall to socialism because the people no longer stand together and resist the takeover. He was a man way ahead of his time, I laughed of course as a child, that is until I seen it come to pass before my very eyes!

Desert Hermit, I have never heard of Valley fever but I will look it up. I used to live in southern California and I remember seeing those big wind turbines like the ones off the 10. I as well love the desert and it is a special place. People who have never been out to the dessert just don't understand how awesome a place it is.

dieselram94, Valley Fever is pretty much like the flu, I just came across a few doctors who are investigating the increase of it out here, and just read a news report that the guys putting in a large solar farm here had a large outbreak of it, maybe they'll put it all together and still do nothing about it, LOL.

I seem to remember reading about valley fever one day while waiting to deliver some trucks in Fresno. I recall it eluding to something about mold spores that thrive in once fertile ground that's dried up. The wind then picks it up and distributes it into the atmosphere where it is then breathed in. Thanks to the democraps cutting water off to many SJ valley farmers, the problem has really expanded in recent years

I'd also think that the massive fires in the Sierra last year distributed a lot of ugly bugly crud to the south and east.

3029heavy, I stole this from wikipedia. The spores, known as arthroconidia, are swept into the air by disruption of the soil, such as during construction, farming, or an earthquake.

As a kid growing up in So Kal , I tested positive for VF, like 80% of the people in my age bracket. We were told that once you get it you can never get it again. Like measels, momps.ect. Wrong . I contracted it again 12 years ago. When you're young , you just blow it off as a case of the flu and it's no big deal. Get a little age on you and WOW ! Maimes and kills
