Greetings fellow Treasure Netters. Hope you all had a good weekend.
For the past few days I have been hunting a bean field where a house was in 1870.
Today was the best day as I found the key date indian head and the two cent piece.
The token is about a card game . The eagle button fell apart when I picked it up.
The other button is a mid 19th century sporting button. [Thanks to PBK for IDing it]
I found the Mercury dime on Wednesday while hunting a Deerfield park.
[out of town on buisiness]
Thanks for looking and best luck. Merf

Awesome finds Merf. That IH and the 2 center look to be in pretty good condition. The 2 center is probably worth about 50 bucks. I have an 1870 IH in my collection but I did not dig it. The pic of the field is nice too. Looks like you could dig there forever.

Thanks Kirk---Ed does very well---He just does not have all the time to hunt that I do.
Snowing in PA.? That does not sound good. I HATE winter. [withdrawal]

Fantastic finds, Merf, and excellent field pics. That 2-center is a great find. Beautiful patina. Just don't see that many being posted.

That bean field is so large. Wonder what else is out there?

Congrats,
