I suppose I should show what Cru left for me

At least I got my first short cross hammered Also my first Royal Farthing, though it's in bad nick.
A nice coin weight and a French coin...I think
Just the three Rose Farthings for me.

That's not a bad day out shaun you have a Heraldic Horse pendant there as well, as for the coin weight I have never had one in Ten years

That's not a bad day out shaun you have a Heraldic Horse pendant there as well, as for the coin weight I have never had one in Ten years

There's nothing to see on the reverse

Found it, its deliberately uniface

Its for a foriegn gold coin - The Florentine Florin.
First struck in 1252 & was one of Europes earliest commercial gold coin.
They were around 3.3 grams & difficult to exactly date but its a nice early one.

Flear de lis with 2 annulets near base & 2 sets of 3 pellets at top

In the farmers display case they are described as "pimple buttons", but nipples better

It may just be me but I prefer nipples to pimples.
