After torrential rain over night, we had a late start today, but the weather improved nicely for us.

Not sure what this first item is, but he found it and I love it xx then I found my first livery button in ages, serpent (?) a little ring nd another corset stay hole, 2 small musket balls, 2 bits of buckles, pot mend lead nail, another on of these (I found one a few weeks ago, so nice to have a matching pair 😆 ) tiny little lid, my tiny silver piece 😍 3 crusty pre dec coins, buttons, not sure what this nice coin is 🤔 and finally a very tiny, battered hammered! xx

Another perfect weekend, now the long wait till next Sunday! 😆 xx

Then I make the mistake of looking up Chinese Romans due to himself's (first pictured) recovery.
Whist in the background I'm seeing a later pictured find and trying to recognize it as a thread cutting die.
Which it is not. Or is it? l.o.l..

its 5cm at its longest, 2cm at its widest and weighs 18.43gms….. will take some more pics but its tricky thing to photograph 😂.. !!
