I locked my keys in my truck along with all of my gear. Luckily it was at the end of the night.

I went to a different park last night and searched the trails in the woods around the property. My first hit was the surface dime, 1996D. Not ten feet away, I found the roundball at about 3 inches. I also found the smaller bullets along the trails as well at about the same depth. I left the woods as it was getting dark and started a perimeter search of the open field. That is where I found the Jesus fish charm, the pennies, and the other bits of metal. As you will see in the photo, I found something that looks like either a trigger or a hammer, but I need help IDing it. I am also not sure what the larger rusted piece of iron is either, nor the smaller bullets. Afterall, I am new at this. Anyway, if you guys could take a look at the pics and help me ID some of the things I would appreciate it.

Kiros,

Congrats on all the neat finds.

The larger ball looks like a clay marble, but hard to tell the size. If it's kinda orange then that's what it is (unless it's a 50 cal ball, you know if it's lead or not by the wieght).

Can't help with the other stuff. Most times it's hard to ID things even when you got'm in your hand, as you've discovered.

HH,

Thanks for the comments. I will take some closer pictures tonight and post tomorrow. The sphere hit like a bomb right at +55 and is heavy so I can only assume it's a bullet. I am more curious about the really small bullets however. Like I said, I will post more pictures next to a ruler to get some perspective.

So here are some better pics of the items that I need help IDing. I know that the first projectile in the bottom photo is a roundball, however, I have never seen ones as small as the other two. Any ideas? Thanks again.

Kiros,

Pretty large shot, probably a 58 cal at my guess. The other bullet looks like a 38, but could also be a 9mm (diameter size the same), I 'd guess 38 cause of the jacket, most 9 mm don't wrap around like yours. The smallest looks like a 32 cal or 22, but is odd because of the tip (rounded). I'm sure some of the experts can ID these wth more confidence.
