It hasn't rained good for weeks, but today we really got it, that spurred them on for a real good swim.
The first time they ever talked I was coming back from snapper fishing in Boca Grande Pass, I almost ran off Alligator Alley, laughing so hard I was crying.

They have a very large vocabulary, for swimming they tell me, "Good birds go swimming, go swimming, go splash about, splash about. Oh it's so much fun."

For food they say, "momma, momma, go get them good birds some yum yum yum. Oooohh. it's so gooood". Sometimes they get stuck on the "yumyumyumyumyumyumyumyumyum". They are a riot.
I was raised in the south, Georgia, and I have a thick southern accent, SO DO THE BIRDS! LOL! They sound just like me, accent, inflections, punctuations, it's really amazing, in that they actually form goals of desire with words, I thought only man did that. Thanks for looking all, have fun!

At the Sands Motel in Islamarado Fl, where we used to stay for Lobster season, they had a large African Grey on the back porch. One morning I hear the garbage truck, but no truck was there. I walked aoutside, the BIRD, is saying, "Baaak baaak baaak, (sound of back-up alert signal), Come on back! Come on back! Come on back!", then he starts saying, "here kitty kitty kitty, here kitty kitty kittty, here kitty. Hiss fwart, spit hiss, hiisssss"! Like the cat came, got a hold of him, and they rumbled! I love a good laugh!

Hey red james below, a friend's mom had a quaker, she let eat at the table with her. It would always say before a meal, "Is it good? is it Good? is it GOOOOD?" hehehehehe

 parrots
My brother has a macaw and another smaller parrot (forget the species offhand) its the funniest thing listening them talk to each other. The macaw would start making noise at around his dinner time, asking for a cracker for a snack and the smaller parrot would tell him to shut up and wait. The smaller parrot could imitate the telephone ring to a T and also the doorbell plus my sister in laws cell phone ring.unbelievable . Alot of people dont realize it but parrots know exactly what they are saying, its not just mimic.
