The CLEANEST finds you'll ever see

I can't explain it. But, most of the finds this morning
looks like they just came out of the wash. A few pieces
were surface finds, but even the dug finds look good. I
didn't clean anything in the photo. It's really weird.

Think that is a smashed penny. Is that what you meant? Put in a penny and usually 50 cents turn the handle and the penny comes out smashed with a design.

My friend was born and raised in this town and told
me today that the area I was hunting used to be a
chemical plant. YIKES!!! If I get poisoned, I'll put
in a good word for all you Tnetters when I see the
big guy upstairs. LOL

Very nice finds TY

Whatever chemical they made would sure make a good coin cleaner.

If you can find out what chemical it was let us know. I want some.

Re: The CLEANEST finds you'll ever see

guess it could be murcury or cynide. I set some rusty traps out in an area below mining operation and in a few days in the mud and water they shined like new. Of course both of those products will kill you too. Cynide is used for leetching gold out of ore and I guess murcury is also.
