I collect everything from my childhood and the doors were a big influence and my younger while days the only book I’ve ever read on front to back and honestly read was No One Here Get Out Alive. And this is also a original 1974 Jim Morrison T-shirt which a drunken friend actually took the shirt off his back and gave it to me because I told him I liked it.

When in my early teens the older kids would say I was gonna be the next Jim Morrison.

And I was like... "who the f___ is that" ?

They would say "the singer for a band called The Doors".

And I was like... "that is the stupidest name for a band I ever heard"

Of course... the name made sense when a girl gave me the book "No one here gets out alive".

I think it had a lot to do with more of the fact I was a reader and liked poetry and wrote it.
