Here are the finds for a short hunt this afternoon. I am noticing the Equinox really makes those nickels jump out of the dirt. The wheaties are 1927 and 1928 respectively. 20180810_213200.jpeg 20180810_213220.jpeg 20180810_213234.jpeg 20180810_213211.jpeg

Good stuff! I've heard that about the Nox and Nickels. Don't seem to find too many with my CTX. Well done.

Nice old coins. I have a preference toward the merc. Just love them. Keep hammering that area. You never get it all the first time or the second.

Congrats on your finds. I havent found any Nickels with my 800 yet, but I have only been on 2 outings since I received it. I have managed to pick up 5 silvers in those 2 outings.

Nice finds! I just picked up an Equinox 600 to use in conjunction with my XP Deus. I’ve heard that the Equinox loves nickels, would you agree?

Nice finds. I read somewhere on these forums or in the manual that Minelab engineers really tweaked the firm ware to key in on small round metallic objects and give less weight to strait metallic objects.

The Equinox really really loves small roundness. I have two half dimes and a half real to prove it in a hunted out location by a etrac experienced hunter who hunted it for 15yrs and got everything but the small half variety.

He bought a 800 recently lol
