I had pounded the little field pretty hard when the soil was dry and thought there was nothing left to find. It has rained for the last 2 days so I thought I would hit it again to see if the wet soil would give me more targets. My hunch payed off and I found these two Indian heads in an area I had gone over at least 6 times.
The pictures of them cleaned up is after 2 hours in the rock tumbler.
Best luck to all-----Merf

Nice finds, that rain does wonders for the signals. Those indians cleaned up nice, what are you using in the tumbler?

Thanks Utah---I used white aquarium gravel [about half full], filled with water almost to the top of the gravel, a little ivory dish soap and a little bit of vinigar.
I tumbled these for 2 hours, rinsed them off good and put a thin layer of vaseline on them.

Nice pair of IH's

It's always nice to pull a couple of goodies out of all of the harness bits, tractor/implement fallout, and other stuff that's ever-present in a field.....WTG

Merf,

Try walnut shells in your tumbler.
less possible dammage to a good coin.

Just a suggestion.
May take longer but the results will be nicer
