THE FORGOTTEN GAME OF SHYCOCKS.........

Recent research has proved that the tokens I have pictured (found over the years) were used in a game called 'Shycocks'.

The tokens were thrown at bird shaped targets to score direct hits by young boys in the 18-19th century. This Stems from Medieval times when they would thether up Cocks & stone them to death. Nice

Yeah lead.

If you look at the bottom left token you can see the stones being thrown at the bird.
