One of my favorite parks had these kooky aluminum tokens waiting for me in an obvious "coin spill." Two modern clad quarters were in the mix, newest dated 2004. I think the tokens may be part of a reward system used by parents to reinforce good behavior in their kids. You can imagine how these made my ATPro and pinpointer go nuts! The tokens are about the size of a quarter and there is one on on eBay now listed at $12.99, but I think that is a bit overpriced. I may just throw them in my adult kids' stockings for Christmas! Happy hunting and thanks for looking. Sub 8-)

I'm glad my 26 coins in one hole were sterling silver but still a great and different find for sure! :)

Better than a ate "Zincolin" pile and looks like that made the hunt interesting too ! First I've heard of such a token .

man, that title almost made me not look!lol..nice finds

That's a first for me but then, i wasn't a very good child.:headbang: Cool and interesting find.

I usually hunt this one specific marina at low tide here in the city, the one day I didn't go some clam diggers found a guy's corpse in the exact same area I usually hunt. So when I saw your title I thought you found a mass grave of little dead children. :D So glad it wasn't. Still every time I go out to this one place now I always think I'm going to stumble across a dead body. In all honesty if I found a human skull I would probably just bring it home and use it as a pencil holder, but this is me thinking before the fact, in reality I'd probably tip off the police about it.

Nope, I left all that in the hole for my detecting buddy to find. Kind of like leaving a crumb trail, but more frustrating.
