To the plough that is probably done very recently the first picture is of a Hammered Edward? penny.
We arrived at one of out main fields today, and it had been ploughed unfortunately it was raining very heavily and freshly rolled fields and rain are a bad combernation, we managed two hours on the field after a bit of a lull in the rain.
The Hammered come from the corner of the field that I have had six outhers in, could be a small purse loss here the going was very heavy but a few nice finds showed, a nice counterfeit William 111 shilling and another small Roman Brooch gives me great hope for tomorrow as the forcast is for dryer weather, so should be some good finds to show
