I think that some of them followed the Viking routes to Nova Scotia.
There is no evidence that indicates that the Norse made it to NS.

I simply did what you did. I crossed my fingers, squinted real hard, and decided that the code said exactly what I wanted it to say.
The same can be stated about the Templars- if one expect to find Templars at Oak Island/Nova Scotia, they will find Templars at Oak Island/Nova Scotia.
Are you stating that you deciphered this alleged "code" without prior exposure to books or magazine articles that discussed these same theories of "codes" in the works of Poussin and others, and experienced an epiphany when observing these works of art and monuments at first sight?Sorry, not what I did. I actually deciphered the code!

You realize that "ET IN ARCADIA EGO" was a common memento mori on tombstones during the Middle ages and the Renaissance that had nothing to do with the Templars, the Grail, or Nova Scotia.
The existence of "hidden codes" exists only in the mind of the beholder.
...and all those period tombstones throughout Europe with that cautionary reminder that life is short memento mori, are all about Nova Scotia and Canada? Really! Its actually "ET IN ACADIA EGO" if you understand the code! Do you know where Acadia is?

Now that Loki, is a good one!
Yes, during the middle ages and Renaissance the Canadian Tourist Bureau had that placed on tombstones as advertisement to visit Canada.
...and you discovered and "solved" this code as you stated on post #283 without any prior knowledge that Picknett & Prince, Baigent & Leigh, Andrew Sinclair, Henry Lincoln, and others have discussed and written about these hidden codes in Poussin's and other paintings,
AND have provided their various solutions to these alleged " hidden codes".
What is your assessment of his work concerning the Priory of Sion and connections made to Poussin's work?... I have exchanged pleasantries with Henry Lincoln...
Heh...When deciphering a "code" with preconceived expectations, the cipher reveals those expectations.
Happens all the time, Loki.
If one believes that the Templars constructed a treasure vault in Bedford county, Virginia, and the Beale Papers ciphers were actually written by long kept Templar secret by the "unknown author", then one's deciphering would result concerning the Templar treasure.
Are you saying that you discovered these "alleged codes" in Poussin's painting without previous knowledge or any outside influence, just somehow stumbled onto Poussin's hidden "alleged codes"?
...and how do you account for "ET IN ARCADIA EGO" on all those tombstones from the middle ages and Renaissance- Are they all providing the same "alleged code" that you attribute to Poussin?
