I already have given a lot of examples.
One, especially is the belief that Christopher Columbus discovered America. When CC came over in 1492, voyages had been already made over here to this continent that became America, two thousand years before him.
Actually, CC had the Knight's Templar Maps when he came over to the Islands in the Caribbean...
The "belief" that Columbus "discovered" America was popular in the 1950's 3rd grade elementary history text books and in a song sang on "Columbus Day".
Who was the cartographer that created the alleged "Knight's Templar Maps" and how did they come into the possession of Columbus?
If, as you claim, America was discovered 2000 years before his voyage in 1492, who discovered America in 508 BCE?

Michael Faraday is credited with the discovery of induction (how metal detectors work) because he published his findings for everyone to see. It's very possible that someone else before him discovered induction, but they don't get the credit because they didn't publicize their findings. That's the way discoveries work.

Even though others preceded Columbus to America, he is still credited with the "European discovery" because his voyage resulted in opening the doors for others, whereas prior explorations were forgotten events that led to nothing. The reality is, America was actually discovered by a nomadic tribe perhaps 30,000 years ago... there was literally a "first person in America," probably his name was "Og." But no one wrote it down, so it's lost.

BTW, "America" is the western hemisphere: NA, SA, CA, and the various islands. Columbus landed in America, on one of the islands.

"America" was discovered by people prior to the end of the last Ice Age some 12,000 years ago. Possibly twice as far back based on paleolithic finds in cave shelters.

The Europeans were just unaware of it until much more recently.

That is where you are dead wrong. Their explorations led to America being America. Three ship loads of Knight's Templar Treasures were used to finance the Revolutionary War against Great Britain. Without the 10 megalith by 10 megalith vault full of Knight's Templar Gold they could not have fought off a gnat let alone the most powerful Naval Country in the World at that time in history.

Has any of this information of three ship loads of Templar treasure or your other version about French Monarchy treasure ever been verified by any legitimate professional historian, or is this just a continuation of all this unproven speculative alternative pseudo history that has been posted on these Oak Island threads?

... You keep believing history in books and you will never know any more than all the idiots that have learned these same False History taught in schools today.
Truth hits them in the face and yet they keep teaching their lies.
You have expressed your disdain for professional credited, degreed, and lettered academic historians and actual real documented history in favor of ground out fabricated pulp pseudo revisionist fantasy history that any real substance beyond the speculative imagination of the various self declared historians.
So far, the only ones that have Truth hitting them in the face for promoting lies and false history are these quasi self proclaimed "historians" and their nonfactual fabricated fantasies that are NOT accepted by any professional historical community, because there is never any real supporting evidence that supports their pure speculative "research".

Could we come back to the facts ...
The one basic fact concerning Henry Sinclair's alleged voyage to Nova Scotia is to have been documented in Nicolo Zeno's 1558 manuscript, which DOES NOT and NEVER MENTIONS Henry Sinclair, but after Johann Reinhold Forster, son of an exiled Scottish noble, claimed om 1784 that the name "Zichmni" in the Zeno story was "Sinclair", various Sinclair descendants have continued to promote and expand the Henry Sinclair myths.
When Richard Henry Major translated the Zeno work into English, 1875, he substituted "Zichmni" to "Sinclair".
Like the original reason that Nicolo Zeno of Venice wrote this to claim his ancestors, not Columbus of Genoa, were the first to sail to the New World, Thomas Sinclair in 1892, using Major's translation, began the myth building of his ancestor Henry Sinclair.
In addition to claiming that Henry Sinclair sailed across the Atlantic to Nova Scotia before Columbus's voyage, he also claimed that Henry Sinclair was a Templar (he was not and testified against them during their trial) was the hero of the Bannockburn by leading a cavalry charge of 300 Templars ( He was not at Bannockburn and the actual charge was the Scots Cavalry led by Sir Robert de Keth).
The Sinclair myth was revived in 1992 by Andrew Sinclair and his book, "THE SWORD AND THE GRAIL", which was utilized by other writers of fabricated history and incorporated as fact.
Then there is the 2007 blog by Neil St Clair expanding and passing on this fake history, and then another claimed descendant,Diana Jean Muir's 2017 book about finding "Prince Henry Sinclair's" journals and a map- the narrative in these alleged journals come directly from the Zeno work, which has been proven to be a hoax.
Scott Wolter, who is said to be the only person to see these "journals", said they were copies of a possible earlier manuscript, and the map, an original ink drawing on lambskin, never quite defining what he meant by original.

Not sure what a megalith is, but it sure sounds big... a million times bigger than an ordinary lith! In any case, I expect if the colonials had access to such a huge treasure the war would have been brief and easy, and the winter at Valley Forge would never have happened. As it was, the war was won largely on luck, a few bad decisions by the Brits, and a whole lotta unpaid help from the French. If that Templar treasure had existed, the French would not have racked up so much debt, and the French Revolution would not have happened. In fact, if the Templar treasure existed, a whole lot of history would have been different.

The revolutionary war was financed by France, not some hypothetical Templar treasure

Carl, A "megalith" is equal to 2.7 feet. A little bit less than a yard. So a ten megalith treasure vault would be 27 feet x 27 feet. with a ceiling of 3 to 4 megaliths. The Vault was 4 megaliths below the surface of the ground on Mason's Island in the Potomac River. It is Teddy Roosevelt's Island today. Can anyone imagine that was the first Treasury Vault of the United States before we even became the United Thirteen States of America. The Vault is now empty but it is still there. It was about 100 paces from the Mansion of George Mason. It took 12 whale boats off of the ships to transport the treasure to the Vault. An inventory of the treasure was made by John Weems, Jr. as he was the leader of the 58 men that recovered the Knight's Templar Treasures from four Islands in Mahone Bay. All was recovered except one of the two that had been buried after the Saint Katherine captained by Sir Henry Sinclair was blown half way across "Dog Island" by a strong wave from a Hurricane. The oak trees that later give Oak Island it's infamous name was in the Saint Katherine as ballast. The ship hit a stump on it's voyage onto the Island and became lodged between two trees. The acorns went everywhere being washed all over the Island and into the area that later became known as the "swamp" They tried for weeks digging a channel to get the ship back into the bay but all attempts failed. The channel they dug later became the "swamp" The Knight's Templar were left to guard the two treasures after it had been buried. The ships planking was used to make a shelter for the three Knight's Templar and the rest was burned. ECS if you really like history you should read Diana Muir's books. They are not made up and they definitely are not fiction. There was 7 ships on the first expedition of Sir Henry Sinclaire to search out some missing Knight's that had been missing since 1353. These Knight's were left behind when Henry Sinclair's family came over with his father on a fishing expedition. The Voyage in 1395 was also to find locations to bury the Knight's Templar Treasure's and to make contact with the Mic-Maque Indians as well as the Seneca up around Lake Ontario. The Expedition of 1398, Sir Henry Sinclair brought over 8 ships with a complement of 9 fishing vessels with supplies, water and gifts for the natives. As well as they were to take back a load of fish. The treasures were buried on four Islands that had already been picked out by the 1395 Expedition. There were at that time already Mosque and towns of the Templar's, West Port, Maine was one as 23 Knight's Templar had been left there. There was also a like amount at New Ross where they had built a fortification some call it a "castle" The treasure there was buried in a room or chamber at the bottom of the well. That treasure was also recovered and carried to Mason's Island. Great Books. I have not even gotten my second Volume yet. I have already read it and portions of Volume 3. I can not wait on all 5 or 6 of them. It will be years before all 5 are made public, I only hope I can read them all before my passing. I love history like this as it is NEW and it is verifiable. Historians need to make contact with Diana and start their screening for facts because they will not be disappointed. Most of the information in these books can not be released until Diana and others has the opportunity to check out treasure locations. That is why I have only read portions. I can not read them all until every thing has been verified. Several have already been verified such as markers, and carved stones or trail markers. There are a total of 8 that lead to the Ark of the Covenant of God. Three has been found and one of those was next to the last marker to the Ark and the last one was not pursued for several reasons.

I have some archeological upbringing and a "megalith" has never been used a a unit of measure. Typically it describes a "huge stone" as in those at Stonehenge. Which is, in fact, where the first use of the word appears to have been invented in the mid 19th century to describe giant stones there (Greek: megas lithos = "huge stones").

Three has been found and one of those was next to the last marker to the Ark and the last one was not pursued for several reasons.
The entire foundation of these alleged Sinclair journals Diana Jean Muir said he discovered in a trunk hidden for nine years in a closet in Greenville, Tennessee, is the fictional Zeno manuscript about a voyage made by Prince Zichmni, NOT Sinclair and NOT by Templars.
The first attempt to place Henry Sinclair as the intrepid adventurer on the Zeno novel was in 1784 by Johann Reinhold Forster, and when Richard Henry Major translated the Zeno work in 1875, he used the name Sinclair.
As with several claimed descendants of Sinclair since Thomas Sinclair in 1892 and Andrew Sinclair in 1992, and Neil St Clair in 2007, Muir has jumped on the Henry Sinclair myth by adding her own expanded version. "borrowing" bits and pieces from these earlier works, including "Prince" from the Zeno story- if indeed the journals of Henry Sinclair, he would nit refer to himself as "Prince".
There has been NO official verification or acceptance by the legitimate academic lettered historical community, nor has Muir presented these alleged Sinclair journals for that critical examination, the exception being that Muir showed them to less than credible Scott Wolter, who concluded that they were copies of a possible earlier work, and the ink drawn map on lambskin appeared to be an original drawing on the lambskin, but not commenting if the map was original or also copied from another source.
Muir states that she alone, translated these journals that were written in Latin and Middle English, while there has been NO outside verification that these translation are correct, or that Muir is an expert in Latin and Middle English.
There is NO chain of custody provenance of where these journals in the trunk were before being found by Muir, or how they happened to be in Greenville, Tennessee, which is a serious REG FLAG to their validity in addition to their "borrowed" content.

*NOTE* Franklins quote was edited only for the sole purpose in addressing the statements made in that which was highlighted by the edit.
