Well....It IS a big improvement over the X-Terra 70 & 705, have not checked the price, but there IS the EQ 600, 700, 800 and 900 that has all of what the new X-Terra has plus MULTI. Just saying...I really like the grey color though.

OK then, I did look at it at Bigboys, and for $270 bucks, I'm all for it, sound like it would be a Great detector.

To put things into the proper prospective, the original X Terra 705 cost about $700 in 2009. Add in another $500 for the coils necessary to get all of the frequencies covered. In today's buying power the $1300 in 2009 dollars is probably close to $1800. That kind of money will buy a Manticore plus an X Terra Pro.
With what it's capable of the new X Terra Pro at $269 is an incredible bargain.

I have tested it against my Father's Equinox in my test garden and, no bull****, It picked up EVERYTHING that the Equinox did.

Yep I recently bought a Xterra Pro & a equinox 900 & the Xterra Pro has hit/picked up every target my Nox 900 has found. Now granted i dont have many hours on either machine, but the $269 Xterra Pro is a Cracking machine for the money.
