here is a frame I have run across with the only hafted scraper I have ever found in my life
I thought I would post it being we are on the scraper subject
these just do not exist in the Dakotas for some reason
this is one of the differences between cultures or whatever
hafted scrapers seem to be prolific in ohio but (almost) nonexisting in the dakotas

That's interesting. You seem to have many of the thumb scrapers and we know what they were eating and skinning on your site. Most hafted scrapers I have were recycled from a snapped point.
Do you think its because your point types do not recycle well down into hafted scrapers or that your thumb scrapers were all they needs?
You have the larger butchering tools right?
