For the gardening or cooking crowd a video on making basil pesto. Great taste if you haven't tried it before we just use the walnuts also since the pine nuts are crazy price wise.

I gifted the Egyptian pendant/metal that I found last Sunday to the farmer this week.
He found it really interesting and couldn't believe I found it in his field.

He said, "that he was going to buy a chain for it and give it to his wife."
I then received a text from his wife thanking me for the gift and asking, "what I knew about it's history?"

A little kindness goes a long way with the folks who share their land with us.

Anti...

I THINK... your item is from 1904-5...

Sears catalog item...

Sold as good luck charm.

So being the GTA/Toronto and trying quickly to depart the city on a Friday pm is a sure sign of insanity.
I don't mind the slow crawly along speeds/stop and go.
I don't care for the lets get rolling up to highway speed-then full stop! Highway speed-FullStop! Then It's full speed 120-130 then abrupt slow down to 60.
It's one thing for getting rear ended at a slow speed or getting rear ended at speed where somebody going to be hurting. Now the load I was carrying at a low speed it would mess up vehicles-high speed I was thinking this going to be a mess-either I'll be skewed or they will be. 70-10ft spear points sticking out of the truck, and another 50-8ft ones pointed at my back.

I just picked up 11 cases of fruit and the rear seat was piled to the roof.
Thought was "man impaled with Tbar steel fence post" First responders :laughing7: at coffee break-"Gee looked like he was ready for the barbie all skewed up like that-peach/apple/plum/him-never seen one like that"
So it gets sorted out and I'm going along at 135-140 (84-87mph) and women are passing me like I was the oldie driving down the highway.
No Men just young gals sitting askew leaning on the door jam-get the arf out of my way looking gals. :dontknow:

Oh I don't miss that world one bit-traffic here is heavy already-damn angler crawled past at day break to go down to his luck of the dock. :icon_thumright:

Last year I made up a scape concoction of Scapes, butter, salt & pepper, then I had a half bag of cheese cuds??? Why not.
Blended it together put into silicon mold and froze them into small pads.
It was great hit on toast/chicken/crackers... had a large get together and the different ideas and trying out different combos was fun and a big hit.

That was a great gesture Dave. On that note I found a officers dress hat medallion at one of my places. It turns out to be around WW2. I returned it to him even though it was the only good find that day. I felt good about it too. bill is right, it sure helps the permission relationship.
