Oh and "dry suits"... and the hot water pumps setups... would need those. :P

I always remember this fellow I worked with on the R/R in the early 70's.
He'd be telling me about his diving under the ice in Montreal.

"Say what, what about the cold water?!"

Reply: Oh we just drink many-many cups of warm water-pee in our suits-and dive. :laughing7:

Mornin all!

Rooster crows.
In the distant village a train whistle blows.
So , it snows.

Inside the barn , old timbers breathe.
Outside red oxide shrugs off the breeze.

The milking's done , the cows eat hay.
Time for breakfast , it's another day.

Of all things....Rust was valuable.
How much do we find detecting? Not near enough of quality to collect and stash usually.
But.... Rust has been used to mix with paint for an oxide.
And has been used to make gun powder.

How in the heck....I can picture me scraping rust off an old implement with a spoon or something for an hour to get a teaspoon...
Steel wool can be rusted fairly fast , but who had a pile of it in the eighteen hundreds? (Metal sheep being rare...:laughing7:)

Upon a discussion about "wormwood" picture / painting / artworks/ etc frames... and their value etc etc... it was discovered by me and tested over and over not just by me... that I hve stumbled upon possibly the best "tongue twisters".

Say the word 3 times.

Then say it as fast as you can.

Bet ya cant :)

Morning RC.

Mornin Cap'n!

A flurry of ambition with the temp breaking freezing is now starting to wind down here.
Meteorologists are hinting they'll be able to tell us where the forecasted storm (Sat./Sun.) will dump the most snow , after it snows...:dontknow:
