Here are the other points found on the river within days… mostly… the darker big one came a bit later. Considering most of them look like the exact same material I wonder if a cache washed out… counter to that theory though is every point is different.

Looks like you have another Loftin in there! Now that I scrutinize it, I think it's the same one.
Yep same one, didn’t think to specify, I think they are all made of hertha chert, you can find the raw material up on the bluffs in old river gravel. The big ones are another mystery type, my best guess is a Waubesa.

Probably all the same water stain might be different colors underneath that stain. I was shocked to see 2 quartz points when I took the stain off. I always thought they were black chert

I doubt it is a cache. But it’s a hot spot and likely multicultural. Seems that lithic was a regional favorite.
