I started detecting in the 90's and have found minie balls, CW buttons silver dimes and quarters. some gold and returned a high school ring to its owner. The returned ring was great but when I started I had dreamed of finding a silver dollar and a $20 gold coin. I found this silver dollar after 18 years of detecting. I'm still looking for that $20 gold, but who knows what else I might find while searching? BTW- it's a 1922 D peace dollar in xf condition.
