Last year wasn't as good as the year before when I found 253 silver coins in just 101 hunts. Last year I did manage to find 100 Rosie Dimes, 46 Mercury Dimes, 28 Washington Quarters, 3 Standing Liberty Quarters, 1 Walker Half Dollar, and 1 Morgan Dollar for a total of 189 silver coins in approximately 100 hunts. I also found 30+ pieces of silver jewelry (wife took a couple of them) and a few gold rings that are now in my safety deposit box at the bank.

If I hunted nearly everyday I could do better, but 100 hunts per year is enough for me.

Thanks! I'm beginning to wish that I didn't live near me. I'm slowly beginning to run out of good places to detect.

Ok Tabman. What’s your method? You don’t dig that many silver coins in that many hunts without one. Care to share?
