Well I decided to go with Iron Patch's advice...He told me to continue getting out as much as possible and ride the wave when your coil is hot and so far he was right once again! Started off digging a few buttons here and there then I get this low tone and dig it up and see the hint of gold...Yup another gold brooch! The early British Navy button was next in line right beside this pile of gold tilted button "ALL" in one hole... My heart skipped a beat as I thought they may have been an officer's gold plated marked military button, turned out to be civilian after I cleaned a couple up. The silver 5 cent piece was soon to follow... All of this before noon, so we decided to give another field a try and managed a copper, silver spoon handle and an early complete french pewter button. We spent an hour there and decided to try for random drops again in the first huge field...I get this nice silver signal and out pops this child's silver ring. Can anyone get a date from the script when this was made? Also managed this nice shield buckle, seen some found but a first for me. Also not shown in the picture is a frag from a cannon ball.... I really hope this hot streak continues...Thanks for looking!

Now you're just showing off with the old gold! Nah...you put in the time you reap the rewards! Great finds!

You're on the top of the wave this fall season, ride it out for sure. Great looking gold and other finds.

Strange can't enlarge the photos. :(

You really have killed it at that site, and I'm sure there'll be more next time we decide to hit it. Three hunts and still getting targets right around the cellar! A crazy amount of jewelry coming out of there!

Not to show you up, but I also got a fishscale in my full two days of hunting over the weekend.... a 1917 George V! Yeah I killed it and you kinda did too.

Wow you don't often see a hot streak like this. Keep on putting that hit cool to the ground buddy. You gotta ride these waves while you can. That gold brooch and the anchor button are killer

The button is the best for me! Will look good in those cases we bought last year... if it fits. I think that one might barely squeeze in, but my large Navy from a few weeks ago was too big.

Yeah it will be a tight fit for sure! I may have to purchase 2 of the larger cases for my larger bale seals and buttons...

I like gold and the other stuff too but the anchor button is the find IMO. Congrats.

well played sir !!!!

Steve,

Another great selection of finds....the gold brooch does it for me and I'd vote banner, however, don't believe 2 up top at the same time is permitted.

Regards + HH
