47 rolls of CWR halves - Two 40%

Today

50 rolls of nickels - Skunked
69 rolls of Dimes, 10 CWR - Skunked

Hey there, newbie question. Can you identify the proofs by looking at the edges too, or no? Do they all have silver?

No not all of the have silver.
As far as edge checking goes...they will normally have a very bright edge and very defined edge. And they are slightly thicker.
Just start double checking coins that catch your eye and you'll be find them in no time!

Just went through two boxes of quarters and both skunks (as expected). Quarters are cruel, with all those Canadians in there.

Yeh I have never tried quarters...never though they would pay off. I mainly do halves and nickels.
Some times I'll get like 50-100 worth of dimes.

Last year I was averaging 1 quarter for every 143 or so rolls.
This year I am averaging 0 quarters for 85 rolls

so all in all, an acceptable start to the new year.

I've Found I believe 6 40% halves, and over 20 war nickels.
So not TOO bad.
Due to a mini emergency...I didn't get to hunt much at all yesterday. I was ALMOST to the town I intended to start my hunt, and I got a phone call and hand to drive 2 hours away from that town.
Still managed to hit up a few banks. But mainly in big cities. So, not much luck.
