After eight years it's beyond help. If this ever happens again, fix location, then magnet fishing! It's really impressive what a magnet can "catch". Depending on the weight and depth, you can affix a magnet to your fishing line and lower away.

Grey hound lost one of my checked bags, Of course it was the one with my leatherman tool, mini-mag light etc. It will take months to get a check from them. I had to run straight to Wally World and replace them. I have been using the Leatherman for Over fifteen years.

I use to work for Greyhound. In those days, everything
lost went to the collection department in Chamblee,Ga.
I have no idea where it might be today, but I believe
any place you buy a ticket can tell you where it is.
Contact them with a description of contents of your
bag and they can find it in minutes.

I went through that. Now I am in a 90 day waiting period. Then Greyhound will submit me either a offer or a reason for denial of my claim. Thanks and good luck.
