An old story that seems to be making the rounds again....A travelling salesman stopped by this farm house and was in the living room showing his wares to a farmer. He noticed a cute little pig that came in through a doggy door and seemed to have the run of the house. The little pig would nuzzle up to the farmer and squeel with delight when the farmer would pet him. Not too unusual for a farmer to adopt a farm animal as a pet but the salesman couldn't help notice the pig only had three legs. So, he finally asked the farmer what was the deal with the pig. The farmer replied that the pig had saved his life. He was out plowing one day when the tractor turned over and the farmer was pinned beneath it. The little pig came along and rooted and rooted with his little snout, pushing the dirt back until the farmer was able to escape. The salesman was amazed at how the little pig had saved the farmer's life but couldn't help wonder why the little pig only had three legs. So, he just had to ask why the cute little pig only had three legs. The farmer replied, "I told you he saved my life and it just wouldn't seem right to eat him all at once"! M
