the three 'legger' still eludes me.

Went to the store earlier before work to grab something and was waiting in line at the register and the guy infront of me got his change and left it on the side of the counter and left, so I go up to the counter to pay and look down to see the nickel, asked and the lady said sure take it, nothing spectacular but my first buff I found not with a shovel. S mint and I can make out 21. So took the rest of his change and mine and dropped it in the donation cup, just thanks for my good day.

Very nice. Even the 4 legger has eluded me thus far in my short career.

I’ve used about all modern ones but right now: CTX 3030, White’s MXT Pro, XP Deus, Vaquero, White’s TRX

I've only dug two in the last year. Lots of Jefferson nickels though. I dig every "foil" signal that I can to make sure that I don't miss any nickels.

In 3 years of detecting, I've only found one and that was last month. It was 1937 Philadelphia mint.
