Dug my first ever gold today! Behind an early 1900s house at about 4" deep. 14k, 2.6g. It rang up beautifully on the Vanquish 540. Also found a general stores trade token and a wheat penny today.

Wow...congrats! I did the same thing today...found my first gold ring ever while swinging a V540. But, mine came from the beach.
