It is possible that the owners of the site don't know it is down and when they attempt to sign and see the message will call them and see what's up. I really like that site.

Re: thegoldenolde.com/ site is down. Shame, it's fantastic

The site may be down because of lack of $$$. I hope it gets up and running again. I am glad I downloaded all the pages for a book a few years ago. I used to be confused with the Sandman that Norm mentions on the site an has a picture of. I am not that "Sandman", but I know Greg and he used to be in our Search & Recovery Team. I met old Norm many years ago and it was him that first showed me the Happy Dance.

That must be Norman Garnush. Doesn't seem long since he passed away but must be a few years now.

The Site is up and running now.
I checked out the website for the first time today. I talked to a person who was friends with Norman and after looking at Norman's site, I believe Norman was a very good person and I know many who knew him really miss him.

If it ever comes down to an issue of hosting I can host it for free if someone else is willing to pay for the domain name renewal every year which is something cheap like $8 or so.
