The ginseng plants, not the mushrooms. Mushrooms are much cuter when they're all grown up.

My favorite time of the year. The timber is just full of color.

Blue Violets

Yellow Violets

Buttercups

Trout Lillies or Dog Tooth Violets

I am also starting to see a little color out in the open grasses. Not much but there was a little Watercress and a nice patch of Marsh Marigold.

Looks like a great couple meals!!! We've had them for super the last 3 nights, but since I only found 3 today : ( ,not tonight. Seems like the cooler weather and drier condition may have slowed things down. What is every body else seeing?

Very nice Tom what no may apples ? The gin market is shure steady, I spotted some on some old timber ground the other day.Looking forward to this years forbes and sedges again always a deck of cards from year to year.
