I have talked with a few detectorists...some newbies and some with experience...both living in the Houghton Lake area and some up here on vacation during the summer. An interest has been expressed in starting a club.
Would like to know if there are others here who live close enough to Houghton Lake who might likewise be interested in getting a club started. Would like to get a rough idea where you are - thinking of how far people might travel to get to club meetings.
Looking for input on how to start a club as well. I am a member of the Southwest Michigan Seek & Search club but Plainwell is a LONG ways away from here.
Anyone interested in a club in the middle of upper lower Michigan and those who can point myself and anyone else interested in the right direction on setting up a club from scratch let me know.
