Went out yesterday to one of my spots for about a 45 min quick hunt.......right out of the shoot....I got a strong signal...dug my target....got my first razor...looks to be early 40s ..very good shape.....hunting a bit longer...got another good signal dug my target.....its a lead gun about 6 inches long....looks like it had like a brass coating over the lead....tried to research but no lettering or numbers on it....very heavy tho......then I went to a pecan tree was detecting around the roots... Got me two wheaties.....moved over to the other side got a real high steady tone.......dug about 6 inches under the root and the she was....1944 mercury dime! I was telling the homeowner about how old trees was great spots about the time the detector went off lol....I love it
I promise to post pics both my puters or in shop being serviced and I honestly don't know how to post from smart phone...anyways happy hunting and I will post pics soon.....maybe the upload worked!...any ideas on gun....its about 6 inches long lead

Silver is always good! That razor is a neat find, too! Did you ever determine what make it is?

The razor no markings anywhere......but the gun was an old letter opener from 50s missing blade at tip of course
