Looks like a great place to hunt! You are sure to find a Loonie there but hopefully it is of the Canadian variety.:icon_scratch:???

This is a great place to detect. Went there this morning and hunted for several hours. Used to be a rifle range there in the 1800's and I find fired 3 ringers and musket balls from time to time. HH!

Nice place , For a while that was also used for training demands so to speak in more modern times. If you find any relics of the 101st please let me know. If you have a micrometer and could get me exact measurements of that adj win site I should be able to tell you the exact model it came off of and send you a picture of it and also the same type part in its proper location. Sounds like fun but I would suggest you be careful there as that was a JSOC training location for spec ops for short periods of time in the late 80s early 90s and although they only used it for short periods of time I would think it would still be colored grey designation meaning it prob has a minder peeking in on it from time to time. Is it not wonderful the beauty around us some times we get to MDt in ? Just make sure you stop and take a look around and take all the beauty in and also a prayer to the Warriors of the past that spent the key years of their lives there would be a good thing. Nice pictures
