These videos provide a glimpse of the personalities in your group, but I didn't learn anything about the glass.

Here's an idea for the videographer: Provide the history of Halifax Harbor divided into 'snapshots,' mentioning historical highlights or trends, and illustrating that snapshot with bottles appropriate to that time. Say who made the bottles and what that implies about international commerce through Halifax Harbor. Say how they are dated. The first glassworks or pottery in Halifax could be identified and their products could be shown. The first brewery . . . . The first soda bottler . . . .

Let's face it, no one will long remember you or me after we're gone . . . but, the artifacts we've collected will persist. That is what is interesting for the long run.
