thanks pick, and thanks neo
here is 1 more insitu of that KRF point that pick commented about
i have found a couple of other points sticking out of the ground like this after a heavy rain and also found a couple pieces where the piece was laying on top of a small pedestal of dirt when all the dirt around it had washed away, this has only happened when a hard rain came after a recent summer fallow,
know what i mean?
and also a couple more of a broke which would have prolly been a good point if it would have been all there
i don't know the type of material it is made of,
i wish somebody did

Did you say this all comes off of 40 acres? You find amazing stuff but to think it's all coming off of 40 acres is mind blowing.

As usual, great finds sir.

I love the copper bangle. One of our artists stopped in today, just got back from a powwow in SD. (She specializes in Northern dance sculptures, we cast her Jingle dancers), I thought of your place.

A metal detector would find you some real nice copper goodies in that field.

Lars - the math is blowing my mind. That's an incredible number of quality pieces to come out of such a small area. Amazing.

Real nice finds as usual Steve. That Insitu IMG_2417. is the best I have seen this year. I have two Instu's just like that, 1 a Kirk the other a Halifax. I just love it when they are pertruding like that. A good hard frost can make them pertrude like that..Excellent pic.

Molly.

Wish I could take a morning walk with you. :laughing7: I'm just totally awed with all your finds. All what I have found came from areas along the river on our property and the previous owner had been finding stuff there for years & years...before my time living here. If I had my way that whole area would be plowed deep again just so I could find more...but my cattle need the grass.

 RR
