This one is fun...restoration of steel cent found in pocket spill! *lots-o-pics*

I found this steel cent at a hunted out courthouse...here's the post...

Anyway, I found it sandwitched between some coins, and, at first I couldn't figure out what it was, until I got the light on it

So, I did some research on electrolysis...isys...whatever...and came up with this setup with a cellphone charger...

tested it on some stuff and decided it was time to do the penny. I used a TBS of salt, 2 drops lemon juice, and warm water, with the cellphone charger for a "KATANA." and then touched it up just a bit with steel wool. Since then I have done some nice stuff (all in about a month) to include a 50 year old USMC KABAR that had been through a fire and buried, look for the posts...

Looks good, never found a steel cent that I could identify as such.
