Hello, this weekend was nice and cool in the morning and kept garage doors closed until later
than normal. I was following signs to nowhere until about 9 A.M. when people started to pull out their stuff and open the doors.
Almost walked away from the Tivoli stereo until I had the smarts to look it up...it was at the same sale last weekend and forgot to check it out, I was not about to make the same mistake twice. The Technics speakers are nothing special but still worth making a listing.
The miter saw is a Disston and came free with the Stanley piece. The little hp computer is my first of this type and should be worth more than the dollar I paid for it.
About 11 A.M. I spy an estate sale company sign and decide to drop in even though they have been open for two hours already. I cannot believe that everybody missed the gold chain and crucifix in the junk jewelry box that was rifled through and strewn about. I asked the cashier how much and she grabbed it and looked at the marks "417" and said "oh, no k mark $20.00"
I paid and left a happy man, 7.8 grams of 10k gold. Picked up the nuggets at another sale, some nice little pickers.
Overall a nice weekend to be out and spent about $100.00 for everything including lunch and a six pack for tonight.
